| Description | : | Mrs. Amanda Bowsher, 95, 816 W. Spring, died at 10 p.m. Monday in her home, after an illness of one year. Born Aug. 26, 1863 in Shawnee Township, near Hume, she was a daughter of Michael and Sarah (Whetstone) Shaffer. She was the last of a family of 13 children. She was the widow of Charles F. Bowsher, who died April 15, 1951. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Harry Burtchin Sr. of Rt. 4 and a son, H. F. Bowsher of Rt. 1; 11 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
