There are three unmarked graves in addition to the grave of Confederate Veteran James Corrigan. From Morton's Highland History & census records. James & Amanda had the following children. John Michael, James, Abigail (married James Gardner), Eliza (married G.A. Robertson), Caroline (1879-1880),Anne (married Asher Perry) Agnes (married Charles Cohagan) Highland Recorder August 11, 1911 Mr. and Mrs. James Corrigan, of Jackson's River, went out to Staunton Thursday to see their son, who is an inmate of the Western State Hospital. It was their first ride in an automobile.
