Description	:	Ambrose C Rueger, 81, Beattie died Saturday, April 15, 2000, at the CMH Long Term Care Center Marysville. Mass of Christian Burial was at 10:30 am Tuesday, April 18, at St Malachy Catholic Church, Beattie. The Rev George Bertels was celebrant, and the Rev Thomas Dolezal was concelebrant. Organist was Liz Studer and the St Malachy choir sang un der the direction of Linda Bergman. Servers were Danny Kopp, Jamie Rueger and Jason Rueger. A memorial is being left to the St Malachy Catholic Church, Beattie and may be sent in care of the Landreth-Popkess Funeral Home in Axtell. He was born Nov 2, 1918, near Beattie on the family farm, the son of John and Mary Willer Rueger. He attended schools neat Beattie and graduated from Beattie High School in 1937. He farmed near Beattie his entire life and was a member of the Beattie Farmers Union Co-op. He was also a member of St Malachy Catholic Church. He is survived by nieces and nephews, Patricia Botts, Chillicothe, Mo., and Janice Holthaus, James F Rueger and John F Rueger, all of Beattie. Marysville Advocate April 20, 2000
