Wiggins One of Hillsboro's aged respected citizens died at his home here Saturday afternoon the result of a stroke paralysis. He was aged 72 years and 1 day and had been ill for a long time. He suffered a stroke of paralysis sometime ago and the second stroke, which followed last week, resulted in his death. Mr. Wiggins was born in Mason County, Kentucky and moved with his parents to Clay township, this county, in 1856, where he lived until 1878. In the latter years he moved to Hillsboro and opened a pension office and lived here until his death. The funeral was held at the late residence Monday afternoon, conducted by Rev. S.W. Edminson, Coleman, and Shields. Miss Sarah Worley very beautifully sang Rock Of Ages. Interment was made in the Hillsboro Cemetery. Mr. Wiggins in his younger days was a school teacher. He was an excellent business man and had accumulated considerable means. He is survived by his widow and two children, Henry and Mrs. C.D. McConnaughey, both of Hillsboro. Mr. and Mrs. E.H. Wilson and Henry Wiggins, of Indianapolis, Ind., were among the relatives from a distance, who attended the funeral.
