Read More	Garden County News (Oshkosh, Nebraska), Dec. 5, 1946, Page 8 Ambrose Ezekiel Orr was born in Keakuk County, Iowa, on December 30, 1884, and departed this life November 27, 1946, at his home near Lewellen, Nebr., at the age of 61 years, 10 months, 27 days. When a small boy he came to Nebraska with his parents, George B. and Maggie Orr. He has lived in this community practically all his life. He was united in marriage to Ethel Mae Marshall on February 5, 1908. To this union was born five children, Ruth L., at home; Wilbur L., Salem, Ohio; George A., Lewellen; Lula M. Middleton, Oshkosh, Nebr.; and Ida A. Eggers, Denver, Colo. His wife, Mae, preceded him in death December 22, 1920. On January 10, 1925, he was united in marriage to Mildred R. Marshall, who has kept the home and children for him. He gave his heart to God in 1929 and united with the Pilgrim Holiness church in Lewellen. He left a victorious testimony in parting. "Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints." He leaves to mourn his passing his wife, the five children, his mother, Mrs. Maggie Orr of Lewellen, and his sister, Mrs. John McCormick of Lewellen. Also a host of relatives and friends. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Walter Drown of Colorado Springs, Colo., at the Methodist church, Saturday afternoon and burial in the Ash Hollow cemetery.
