He married Mynne Kiehl March 29, 1936, in Sioux City. She died Sept. 21, 1963. Mr. Curtis was a resident of Sioux City most of his life. Curtis, 76, Holy Spirit Retirement Home, 1701 W. 25th St., will be at 9 a.m. today at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. The Rt. Rev. Msgr. Newman Flanagan will officiate. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery under direction of the Larkin Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Felix Cussen, H. E. Schumacher, John Schumacher, W. C. Leonard, Syl Myerchin and Verie Jensen. The Rosary will be recited at 7:30 o’clock tonight at the funeral home. Mr. Curtis died Saturday at a Sioux City hospital. The Sioux City Journal, November 9, 1971
