He was born in Rockport, September 5, 1907, son of Ambrose P. and Eliza Carey Upham II. He was a merchant seaman for 38 years and spent many of those years serving on tankers in the Far East. He was born in Rockport, September 5, 1907, son of Ambrose P. and Eliza Carey Upham II. He was a merchant seaman for 38 years and spent many of those years serving on tankers in the Far East. He is survived by his brother, Pearl Upham of Albion; two sisters, Mrs Elsie McDonald and Mrs. Barbara Larrabee, both of Freedom; 12 nieces and nephews; 33 great nieces and nephews; and seven great-great nieces and nephews, five of whom he became especially close to since his retirement to Freedom: Roger Palmer Jr., Daniel Palmer, Casey Brown, Burtell Milloux, and his namesake, Tiffani Amber Milloux. Friends may call today at the Coombs Funeral Home, Belfast from 2 to 3 and 7 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Friday at 3 p.m. with the Rev. Charles Heslam officiating. Spring interment will be in Pleasnt Hill Cemetery, Freedom. Those friends that wish may make memorial donations to the American Cancer Society.
