Trundle, Cherry Hill, NJ; brother of William B. Trundle, Beallsville, MD. Friends may call at the Hilton Funeral Home, Barnesville, Md., on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., where services will be held on Thursday, January 7, at 11:30 a.m. Interment Monocacy Cemetery, Beallsville, Md. Notes: James Thomas Trundle was not the father of Americus, but an uncle. He was living in James' home according to the 1900 census which states that Americus was his nephew. There are no children for James Thomas and his wife in any census. John Horatio Trundle and James Thomas Trundle were brothers. John Horatio Trundle's wife, Lulu Boyd Spates, died when Americus was 2 yrs old, and John remarried quickly to Clara Jennings Brunner. John's other son, Norman, he was born after the death of Lulu B. Spates Trundle but before his father married Clara. When Norman died at age 18, his obituary mentions his only survivors as a father and BROTHER.
