He married Julia Abigail Crissey (or Cressey), daughter of John Crissey (# 33507640) and Susannah Hobart on Jan 9, 1837. After Julia's death in 1854, Amos married Julia's half-sister, Sophronia Crissey, daughter of John and his second wife Louisa Speer-Crissey. Amos and Sophronia moved to Reno County, Kansas probably around the same time as his son (my great-great grandfather), George Amos Eastman moved there in 1882.
