He was preceded death by his siblings, Willard Freel, Omak; Clyde Freel, Omak; Harvey Freel, Omak; Eddie Freel, Omak; Stella Waddington, Seattle; and Celia Trieber, Omak. He is survived by one brother, Kenny Freel, of Omak; and one sister, Iva Woods, of Pateros. His wife Elsie Freel preceded him in death. There are five great-grandchildren. He was a veteran of WWII, serving in the Army under Patton going through France and on into Berlin when it fell. Amos and his brother Harvey had an auto repair business in Omak for many years, Freel's Mobil Service on Riverside Drive. When he retired he moved to Payson, Ariz. He passed on to be with his wife, Elsie, March 1, 2011, at 11:47 a.m. Phoenix time. There was a graveside service Tuesday, March 8, 2011, at 10 a.m. at the Omak Memorial Cemetery.
