Description	:	Amy Laura James Lenz of Early was born January 2, 1915 in Toledo, Ill., the daughter of Elmer and Stacy (Cardinal) White. She was baptized and confirmed in the Presbyterian Church. The White family moved to Newell in 1929 and Amy graduated from the Newell High School. In 1933, she was united in marriage to Fred E. James and she gave life to five children. They worked hard and had many good laughs with family and friends. She was very proud of her connection with 'The Little White Church on the Corner.' Amy's family and friends all recall many memories... Read More	Amy Laura James Lenz of Early was born January 2, 1915 in Toledo, Ill., the daughter of Elmer and Stacy (Cardinal) White. She was baptized and confirmed in the Presbyterian Church. The White family moved to Newell in 1929 and Amy graduated from the Newell High School. In 1933, she was united in marriage to Fred E. James and she gave life to five children. They worked hard and had many good laughs with family and friends. She was very proud of her connection with 'The Little White Church on the Corner.' Amy's family and friends all recall many memories that will make her memory live with us. Fred passed away on March 13, 1963. Amy married Erval E. Lenz in 1965. They lived in Early where Amy worked as a custodian for several cafes, doctor's office, attorney's office, the Presbyterian Church and one of the last was the Old Home Bakery in Storm Lake. Erval passed away on January 7, 1973. Amy was a member of the Early Presbyterian Church, many 500 card clubs, bridge clubs, Rapid Riders Motorcycle Club and the American Motorcycle Association. Her most rewarding membership was with her family and extended families. Her hobbies were playing cards, bingo, reading and getting together with friends. Amy was preceded in death by her parents; both husbands; granddaughter Becky S. James, and one brother, Lyle White. Married 25 Sept 1933 to Fred James
