'''''''''''''''''' Butler County Press (David City, Nebr.), March 15, 1945, p. 1, col. 5 DEATH OF BRUNO WOMAN WAS INVALID MANY YEARS Funeral Services for Mrs. Anastazie Capoun held Friday Bruno, March 12 – Funeral services for Mrs. Anastazie Capoun, 71, who passed away Wednesday, March 7, were held Friday morning from the home of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Styskal to St. Anthony’s Catholic church, the Rev. Chas. F. Rada offering the requiem high mass at 9:30. Music was by the choir, with Miss Alice Yindrick of David City organist. Interment was in the Catholic cemetery at Brainard beside the grave of her husband, with the Rt. Rev. Msgr. A. J. Klein of Brainard conducting the burial service. The pallbearers were six nephews, Anton and Adolf Polacek, Frank and Fred Janak, Joseph Pelan and John Cidlik. As Anastazie Sajtl, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frantisek Sajtl, Mrs. Capoun was born at Basicich, Czechoslovakia, on November 8, 1873. In 1879 the Sajtl family emigrated to the United States, locating in Butler county. The marriage of Anastazie Sajtl and Frank Capoun of Bruno was solemnized in 1890 in the Plasi Catholic church. They made their home near Bruno for several years, later moving to a farm near Loma. Mr. Capoun passed away March 1, 1906, the family remaining the farm until January, 1923, Mrs. Capoun moved to a home she had purchased in Loma. For the past nine years she had been a helpless invalid, suffering with arthritis, and later with a fatal, lingering illness. She was cared for during the past seven years by her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Louis Styskal, in their home in Bruno, and in the past several weeks her other children took turns in assisting in the care of their mother. Three sons and three daughters were born to them. The surviving children are Albert of Alma, Kas., Joseph of Loma, Mrs. Louis J. Styskal of Bruno and Mrs. Frank L. Pesek of Lincoln. A son, Alfred, and a daughter, Louise, preceded their parents in death. Other survivors are eight grandchildren and three sisters, Mrs. Frank Polacek, Bruno, Mrs. Agnes Janak, David City and Mrs. Mary Bohuslaf, Denton. Mrs. Capoun was a Christian woman of high character, a loving mother and respected by all who knew her. The heavy cross of her illness she bore meekly and bravely, with resignation to the will of God. She had a kind interest in everyone and enjoyed visits, but never mentioned or spoke of her own illness, an inspiration and example to all. The rosary was recited at the Styskal home on Thursday evening by members of St. Ludmila society of Loma, of which Mrs. Capoun was a member. It was followed by another rosary said by the Rev.
