Ancil Jay Randall was born May 6, 1894, in Cherokee county, Kansas, and died October 27, 1918 of bronchial pneumonia, aged 24 years, 5 months and 21 days. He was the son of S.H. and Sarah Randall. He was married March 22, 1914, to Georgia Marshall. He leaves a wife, little son, Gerald, father and mother and three sisters, he being the oldest of the family of children. Burial was made in the Cherokee cemetery on Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock. G.W. Brown conducted services with the sermon of "Resurrection of Christ." (A list of relatives attending the funeral followed.) The sympathy of the entire community goes out to the bereaved family. Contributed by Cheryl White
