Description	:	Grave marker gives name as Andrew Baumgartner, however I am almost positive that this should be Andrew Baumgardner. Andrew Baumgardner was born 25 Sep 1886 in Cambridge Ohio. He married Ruby Blake Feb 1908 in Putman County Indiana. Andrew, Ruby, and Ruby's parents moved to Harding County in the early 1900's. Ruby's parents ran the Hotel in Harding for a period of time while Ruby and Andrew worked in the Gustave area of Harding County. Andrew registered for the WWI draft while in the Gustave area. The family moved to the Northern Black Hills area for a number of years and then moved to the Tacoma Washington area, where several of the family members lived until their death. The Blake family told me that Ruby's father (Henry Thomas Blake) is buried in the Boot Hill Cemetery at Deadwood South Dakota with a brass head board from the bed he died in as a grave marker. The family said they thought that Andrew was buried in Camp Crook, so I believe that the Grave marker should read Andrew Baumgardner, rather than Andrew Baumgartner. Written by Ron Penn
