Church about three years. He died in Barrington where he had been keeping School with a quick Consumption. He was a good Schollar and had written some for the Morning Star His last words to his parents and others were "come come and see me die thank God thank God." Mrs Tasker was a daughter of Mr Levi Buzzell, of Barrington, She was a mild good amiable women, rather private in her devotion never having given her husband a hard word in all her life, They had buried three children, two of them adults, and have five Sons and five daughters now living. She died verry suddenly and unexpected to all her much afflicted relations She died on the 28 inst. My text was Ps 23:4. I have rarely Spoken with such freedom, and power as to day, tears fell in all parts of the congregation like rain, Br Johnson of Northwood closed the exercise I then walked to the grave with with the much afflicted widowed husband, and why did not take cold out of a Sweat this morning then out of a hot house where they had four learge fires, and I in a State of pesperation? but God preserve me viseted three Sick at Capt. W. Tasker,s then went to Mr G. Caverno's our first Selectman then to Judge Jenness, then home all but well glory to God.
