Andrew was born on February 12, 1980, in Sisseton, SD to Raymond Shepherd and Ramona Keeble. He attended school at Browns Valley, MN and Tiospa Tribal School. He played football when he was in high school. Following high school Andrew worked for Dean George doing drywall. Andrew was united in marriage to Carrithe Brave Bull on December 22, 2005 at Sisseton, SD. They made their home at Long Hollow, and he enjoyed teaching his nephews to ride horse. Andrew like bull riding, rodoes, horseshoes, fishing, hunting and playing cards. Andrew belonged to the Unity Riders. Andrew passed away on January 13, 2010 at the Tekakwitha Living Center after a short illness. Andrew was preceded in death by his mother, Ramona Keeble; one sister, Claudette Keeble, and two brothers, Joshua Shepherd and Adrian Keeble.
