Description	:	The funeral service for Andrew E. Hofer, 75, 680 Kansas Ave. N.E., who died in St. John's Hospital Friday afternoon will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Mt. Olivet Mennonite Church with the Rev. Edward Weibe in charge. Burial will be in Ideal Cemetery. Prayer service will be held Monday evening at the Aaseth Funeral Home. Hofer was born in 1889 in Hutchinson County, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Enoch Hofer. He was married to Barbara Tschetter at Freeman Jan. 11, 1912. They lived near Freeman until moving to a farm in Spink County where they resided until they retired and moved to Huron in 1944. He was a member of the Mt. Olivet Mennonite Church. He is survived by his wife, a daughter, Mrs. Jacob E. Mendel of Doland, three sisters, Katie, Ann and Mary, five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and a sister. Pallbearers will be Joe S. Hofer, Andie S. Hofer, Eli Hofer, Edwin Tschetter, Alvin Tschetter and Virgil Hofer.
