Shortly after his birth, his parents moved to Stevens Point, Wis., where he spent his early boyhood and where his mother died, leaving two children, Andrew and Mary. About 1859 his father, Andrew T. June 23, 1921 Andrew H. Anderson was born in Madison, Wisconsin, Dec. 1, 1850. Shortly after his birth, his parents moved to Stevens Point, Wis., where he spent his early boyhood and where his mother died, leaving two children, Andrew and Mary. About 1859 his father, Andrew T. Anderson, was united in marriage to Anna Nelson, and three years later the family moved to Amherst Wisconsin, where they remained until coming to the Dakota Territory. On April 21, 1880, Andrew was united in marriage to Alice Fenton of Waupaca, Wis., removed to the Dakota territory in the same year, together with his father and others. His home has since been a few miles north of Valley City. He has been gradually failing for the past four years, until about two months ago when he was taken to his bed from which he never rose. He passed to the great beyond on June 13th, 1921 at the age of 70 years, six months and 12 days. He is survived by his wife, four daughters: Mrs. George H. Mayer of Robinson, N. D., Miss Bessie Anderson and Miss Dora Anderson, both of Valley City and Mrs. Selmar Borg of Sanborn, N. D. Three sons: Loren E. Anderson of Broadview, Mont., George C. Anderson of Valley City and Edwin C. Anderson of Valley City. One sister Mrs. Mary Olson of Waupaca, Wis., and two half brothers, Charles and Nels Anderson both of Valley City. As a boy he was confirmed in the Norwegian Lutheran church. For several years he was an attendant and supporter of Qetchell Congregational church, which he held to be his church.
