Description	:	Andy was born April 12, 1954 the 8th child of Merle C. and Cora A. (Kjelden) Horner. Andy attended Devils Lake schools and graduated with the class of 1972. He also attended Lake Region State College. Andy was a member of St Olaf Lutheran church and was baptized and confirmed there. He attended Sunday school and church receiving several perfect attendance pins as a child. Andy was currently the Director of the Devils Lake Community Service program, a job he thoroughly enjoyed and truly gave 100% to. He attended Sunday school and church receiving several perfect attendance pins as a child. Andy was currently the Director of the Devils Lake Community Service program, a job he thoroughly enjoyed and truly gave 100% to. Prior to this he worked at Ultimate Audio, and Dakota Prairie Community Action Agency. Music was Andy's lifelong passion. He brought his family and friends so much joy with his love of music and his beautiful voice. Andy was a sports enthusiast. He especially enjoyed hockey and the UND fighting Sioux hockey team. Football and Nascar events were next in line. Andy will always be remembered for his contagious smile, his warm hugs, his gentle soul, and kind heart. Andy's Loving Family: Sisters: Carolyn Sager, Myrna Unger, Harriet Horner-Larson (Doug Omdahl), Vicki (Tom) Gerstbrein, Dori (Brad) Horne. Brothers: Perry (Pat) Horner, John (Lisa) Horner. Brother-In-Law: Dale (Sandie) Nystrom. Many special nephews, nieces and cousins. Preceded in death by his Mom and Dad, his brother Dwight, sister Ida Mae Nystrom, brother-in-law Bob Sager, nephew James Nystrom, and niece Wanda Rethemeier. Jeff Nicla Special Music: Vocalists: Tom Wade and Donovan Foughty. Organist: Lynda Pearson. Honarary Bearers: All of Andy's Nephews and Nieces. Casket Bearers: Richard Sager, Harold Nystrom, Travis Horner, Jon Unger, Brett Christensen, Derek Gerstbrein. Interment: Devils Lake Cemetery, Devils Lake, North Dakota. Now that I am gone, remember me with smiles and laughter. And if you need to cry, cry with your brothers or sisters who walk in grief beside you. And when you need me, put your arms around anyone and give to them what you need to give to me. There are so many who need so much. I want to leave you something--something much better that words or sounds. Look for me in the people I've known or helped in some special way. Let me live in your heart as well as in your mind. You can love me most by letting your love reach out to our loved ones, by embracing them and living in their love. Love does not die, people do. So when all that's left of me is love, give me away as best you can.
