Esham Andrew Harrison Esham, age 92, of Salisbury, MD, formerly of Frankford, DE., went home to be with the Lord on Friday, December 7, 2012, surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Frankford son of the late, Clarence and Edith (Harrison) Esham. Andrew was a WW II Veteran, with the 445th Anti-Aircraft Battalion U.S. Army Unit in the European theater. He was a retired County Supervisor with the Farmers Home Administration in Maryland and former owner of Esham's Nurseries in Millsboro. Esham Andrew Harrison Esham, age 92, of Salisbury, MD, formerly of Frankford, DE., went home to be with the Lord on Friday, December 7, 2012, surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Frankford son of the late, Clarence and Edith (Harrison) Esham. Andrew was a WW II Veteran, with the 445th Anti-Aircraft Battalion U.S. Army Unit in the European theater. He was a retired County Supervisor with the Farmers Home Administration in Maryland and former owner of Esham's Nurseries in Millsboro. He enjoyed woodworking, gardening and attending 445th Battalion reunions. He was an avid reader, especially WWII Literature. He also enjoyed cutting and falling from trees and he exercised faithfully. His last years were spent at the Mallard Landing in Salisbury, MD, where he enjoyed rich friendships and many, many memorable times. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Marion Miller Esham. He is survived by a son, Andrew H. Esham, Jr and his wife Susan; daughter, Amy Biavati and her husband Michael; two grandchildren, Mikaela and John. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 12th from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the chapel of Melson Funeral Services, 43 Thatcher Street, Frankford, DE. 19945 followed by the interment at Bishopville Cemetery. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 15th at 10:00 a.m. at the Wicomico Presbyterian Church, 129 Broad St, Salisbury, MD 21804. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations to, Christian Shelter, 334 Barkley St, Salisbury, MD. 21804 or Wicomico Presbyterian Church, 129 Broad St, Salisbury, MD. 21804.
