Mr. Glass’ illness was baffling to the physicians and he seemed to have suffered a general breakdown. The services were conducted by the Rev. W.G. Brandstetter of Anderson, Mo., former pastor of the local Central Presbyterian Church, assisted by the present pastor, Rev. A. L. Robertson. Allen, Loren Yanzile, Louis Marks and Herbert Ficher. In response to telegrams notifying them of their father’s serious condition Mrs. A.W. Bevers of Hominy, Oklahoma and Paul Glass of Ft. Worth, Texas arrived Sunday night and Ted Glass of Dallas, Texas arrived Monday morning, a few hours after his father had passed away. Two daughters in Pasadena, California, Mrs. M…. Sanders and Mrs. Miriam L….. were not able to be present for their father’s funeral. Others present were A. W. Bevers and daughter, Dorthy and son, Victor of Hominy, Oklahoma; C.N. Glass of Des Moines, Iowa, and J.N. Glass of Monmouth, Illinois, brother of deceased ; H.A. Haight of Winfield, Iowa, brother of Mrs. Glass; A niece, Mrs. John Pearson of Springfield, Mo. Arrived Monday night to attend her uncle’s funeral. Mr. Glass was one of eight brothers and besides C.M and J. M. Glass he is survived by two other brothers, A.W. Glass of Monmouth and T.H. Glass of San Bernardino, California who could not be present. Mr. Glass was born in Ohio, February 3, 1859 and was married on November 17, 1887 to Miss Effie Haight of Winfield, Iowa.
