Description	:	Boone County Democrat October 25, 1907 At 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon, at his home in Moingona occurred the death of John Bollanbaugh, a retired farmer formerly residing south of Ogden and a well known resident of that part of the county. He had been in failing health for some time, but his death was not expected so soon. The funeral services will be held from the home at 1:00 o'clock this afternoon, conducted by the Rev. J.C. Crawford, burial in the Ogden cemetery. ===================== Boone County Democrat November 1, 1907 Andrew Jackson Bollenbaugh was born in Van Wert County, Ohio, Jan 19, 1831 and died at his home in Moingona, Oct. 23rd, 1907, aged 76 years 9 months and 4 days, after several years of brave and patient suffering. In 1850 he was united in marriage with Miss Mary Jane Stettler. In 1855 he removed with his wife and one child to Monfort, Wisconsin, where they continued to reside until 1868, when they came to Boone county and settled on a farm near Ogden and resided there for more than thirty years. In 1900 they removed to the present home in Moingona. He leaves to mourn his death his aged widow, four daughters, Mrs. Kester of Moingona, Mrs. Thompson of Ogden, Mrs. Brooks of Des Moines, and Miss Rachael at home and three sons, King, residing on the old home farm near Ogden and William and John of Moingona, also fifteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren, five sisters and a wide circle of sorrowing friends to who is extended the earnest sympathy of the entire community. ==================== [From Cathy #47100569]
