Description	:	Andrew Jackson Taylor was born in 1855 in Appanoose County, IA and died at his home in Exeter, NE January 2, 1914, aged 58 years, 11 months and 24 days. He came to Nebraska about 1877, settling in York County at which place he resided until the spring of 1912, when he retired to his home in Exeter. He was married to Laura A. Norris, Nov. 27, 1884. Read More	Andrew Jackson Taylor was born in 1855 in Appanoose County, IA and died at his home in Exeter, NE January 2, 1914, aged 58 years, 11 months and 24 days. He came to Nebraska about 1877, settling in York County at which place he resided until the spring of 1912, when he retired to his home in Exeter. He was married to Laura A. Norris, Nov. 27, 1884. To this union were born 3 childre; Fay D. having preceded him in death 4 months, Bessie L. and Guy W. He therefore leaves to mourn his departure, his wife, two children, one sister, Mrs. Carroll Miller of Unionville, IA , other relatives and a host of friends. He was converted to Christ in January 1881, uniting with the Pleasant Ridge M.E. church in March of the same year. He was a constant and ernest worker in the growth and development of its intended work, retaining his membership until his death. He was a kind and loving husband and father and passed a sunbeam over all who knew him and associated wife his life, never retaining ill feeling toward anyone. During the last few years when his malady manifested a disturbance in his body, his love grew stronger, for his home and all of natures riches even the little things of nature given to us to benefit and brighten our lives, thus becoming not unlike the nature of a child and as such he answerd the summons for such is the Kingdom of Heaven. The funeral was held from the M.E. church Sunday at 2 pm. The Rev S.R. Newkirk participating in the services. Interment was made in the Exeter Cemetery.
