Description	:	Mr. A. J. Nelson of Jackson township died last Wednesday in his 73rd year. He was a member of the Methodist church and a well known man of his section. His wife died about two years ago and he had not been in good health since. He served in the war as a member of Capt. Witherspoon's company of the Twelfth South Carolina regiment.
