Charles Walter "Red Fox" born May 13, 1855 but no record of death and buried in Versailles Cemetery, he married Sally Cox 2. Truston Reuben born June 30, 1858 and died June 4, 1909 3. Mary Elizabeth born January 11, 1861 but no record of death, married Ira 4. Frank Howard born July 27, 1865 and died January 7, 1952, married Elizabeth Rasa 5. Jemima Ann born May 11, 1871 and died January 7, 1952, married Martin Davis 6. William Jackson born May 27, 1873 and died October 29, 1955 7. Elijah Oliver born November 21, 1877 and died at July 6, 1938 8. Ira B. born March 10, 1882 and died April 14, 1957, married Mary Lucetta Holst. His parents were Joseph Williams, who preceded him in death March 1, 1894, and Rachel (Laremore) Williams. His siblings were John Lewis Williams, Joan Elizabeth (Williams) Ousley, Alvin "Alvie" Peter Williams, William Frances Williams, Thomas Benton Williams, William W. Williams and Joseph McClure Williams. Andrew came to Morgan County with his parents when he was ten years old. The family settled around Syracuse, Missouri. Andrew's grandparents were Macajeh Williams, born in Rutherford North Carolina, and Mary Jane Crow (Sullens) Williams. Andrew's great grandparents were Joseph and Sarah (Musick) Williams, pioneers from North Carolina who settled in St. Louis Territory while it was under the control of Spain. They were of the Baptist faith. On August 11, 1862 Andrew Jackson left the farm, went to Syracuse and enrolled in Company 1-29 Missouri Union Army for a three year enlistment. He was mustered in at Benton Barracks, Missouri, on September 25, 1862. In the Spring of 1863, while at the siege of Vicksburg, he contacted measles. Because of exposure to the elements and sleeping on wet ground while having measles, A.J. developed complications that left him in poor health. He was transferred to Jefferson Barracks, Missouri, then on to McDowels Hospital. He was transferred to Company C 2nd Regiment INV. Corps and was finally discharged September 26, 1865 at Detroit, Michigan. He returned to Morgan County to farm and rear his family He died at the age of 76 at the home of his son, Lige Williams. Six of his brothers faught for the Union Army in the Civil War along with his brothers, William Frances, Alvin Peter, John and Richard. Two other brothers fought for the Union Army Company 1, Thomas Benton and James William. Joseph, the youngest brother, was to young to join in the war.
