Description	:	He was a son of Andrew Lytle and Sarah Davidson. He married Hannah Hull in 1832 in Pennsylvania. They were the parents of 10 children, 8 of whom lived to adulthood. He was Captain of the first company of the Mormon Battalion to see the San Bernardino Valley in 1847. He returned in 1851 leading the Mormon wagon train as one of its captains. Lytle Creek bears his name for his company's encampment there. He was a blacksmith and also served as Mayor of San Bernardino.	He was a son of Andrew Lytle and Sarah Davidson.
