Deceased was in his 84th year and though in feeble health for sometime his death was attributed to pneumonia contracted a few days previous. Funeral services were conducted the following day at Pisgah cimetery by Rev. M. Oates in the presence of many sorrwowing friends and relatives. in addition to a wife and several children, he left one son, E.B. FALLS, and a daughter, Mrs. Harvey Oates, children by a former marriage, to mourn his departure. We regret that we were not sufficiently acquainted with the deceased to give a more extended notice of his career but not being in possession of the necessary data we find it impossible. Newspaper obituary #2: Andrew Naell FALLS Died, Jan 18th, 1900, Mr. A.N.F. aged 84 years 2 months and 19 days. Although he had been afflicted with nervous trouble for many years, yet he enjoyed general good health until a few days before his death. He was out to church about a week previous to his sad ?dess. He was attacked with pneumonia and heart-failure, and only lived about four days after he was thought to receive medical attention. He was a native of Gaston, N.C., and lived Christian marriage, near where Pisgah church is located. He was married twice. His wife was Miss Margaret QUINN, his second was Miss Martha Lee. A widow and two of first wife's children, and five of his second, survive. He moved to Arkansas in 1851 with a colony of A.R. Presbyterians who came to Arkansas at that time. When the church was organized here, he constituted one of the members. in a few years afterward he was elected and ordained an elder. He loved to read the Bible, and the writings of old authors, such as ? and Knox. He was thoroughly orthodox in his creed, and would sometimes do it with harshness. He was no double faced man. The Session, the Church, and others could readily receive where he stood on moral questions. While he was impulsive, yet no one could doubt his honesty and integrity of purpose, and that he had a sacred regard for the will and authority of God. He was a most devoted worshipper in the Sanctuary. The last sermon he heard, he sat near the pulpit, and when the pastor came down he said "The best sermon you ever preached!"
