Daily, of the Old School Baptist church, of which church Mr. Jenkins had been a faithful member for many years. He leaves a widow and several children, all of whom are grown. Two of his sons are prominent businessmen of Ohio, and were present on the occasion of his funeral. Mr. Jenkins was in the 76th year of his age. Page Courier, Thursday, August 17, 1899 A. R. Jamkin [sic], for more than a fourth of a century in charge of star mail route between Luray and Honeyville, eight miles south, died at his home near Alma, Page County, on Wednesday, aged about seventy-seven years.
