Description	:	Angeline "Angie" Dire, 78, Dickinson, following a lengthy illness died Tuesday, January 7, 2014 at her home. Angies service will be at 2 p.m., Friday, January 10, 2014 at Hillside Baptist Church, Dickinson with Rev. Gary Wood officiating. Inurnment will take place in the Spring at the Dickinson Cemetery. Angeline Jaeger was born July 24, 1935 to Peter and Barbara (Stroh) Jaeger on the family farm in Dunn County. Angeline Jaeger was born July 24, 1935 to Peter and Barbara (Stroh) Jaeger on the family farm in Dunn County. When she was a young girl the family moved to Dickinson where she attended St. Josephs Grade School and Dickinson High School. On July 9, 1953 she married Donald Dire in Bismarck. Angie was a long time Dickinson business woman who owned and operated the Village Gift Shop for 42 years. The Village was her passion. She was known as a very talented decorator and designer. Don and Angie took great pride in their beautiful home and yard, many summer days were spent with family and friends enjoying coffee and conversation on the patio. Angie is survived by her husband, Don; her children, Dawnie Sullivan, Jane Milner, Kregg Dire, and Paul Dire; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; three sisters, Agnes Faiman, Elaine Candee and Diane Douglass; a brother, Willard Jaeger; and sister-in-law, Patti Jaeger. She was preceded in death by her parents; step-mother, Katherine Jaeger; in-laws, Al and Elizabeth Dire; brother, Leo Jaeger; sister, Polly (Chris) Stockert; great-grandson, Myles Sullivan; and brother-in-law, Fred Faiman. Arrangements are with Ladbury Funeral Service, Dickinson, N.D.
