Description	:	Daughter of Levi and Gertrude Wortman Disher. She graduated from Guardian Angels High School with the class of 1933. On February 14, 1938 she married a classmate, Leonard B. Stratman, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in West Point. Ange ran the Clover Farm Grocery Store while Leonard served in the Army during WWII. The couple began farming after the war near Aloys, retiring to West Point in 1983. Ange enjoyed baking pies and bread and serving them to her many guests, family, neighbors and friends. One of her favorite pastimes was visiting the "Missions" at Onawa, Sioux City, and lately Emerson. She frequently traveled to visit her family, spread thru out the country. She will be remembered as adventuresome and always willing to lend a listening ear, followed by bits of wisdom. Ange was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Guild, American Legion Auxiliary, and a charter member of Catholic Daughters. Survivors include daughters Sister Judanne Stratman OSF, West Point, Susan Stratman, Williamsport, Indiana, son Brother Bernard F. Stratman, SM, Washington DC, extended family Reyes and Alice DeLeon of Upland, California, Peggy and Gene Steffensmeier of Fremont, and Patty and Jim Kelly of Fort Calhoun, nieces and nephews (children of Francis and Margaret Stratman Stieren, William and Mary Stratman Schmitt, and Norbert and Florence Keller Disher). She is preceded in death by her husband Leonard in October of 1990, sister Alice Brasel brothers Frank Harold and Norbert Disher.
