Description	:	Anguish Redrick Poston, 76 years old, retired farmer of the Ports Creek section of Georgetown county, died at his residence at 5 a.m. Saturday (March 26, 1949). He had been in declining health for a number of years, and seriously ill for several weeks. Funeral services were held at the graveside in the Wiggins family cemetery, near Friendship church, at 4 p.m. Sunday. Officiating was the Rev. Eugene S. Farmer, pastor of the Sampit Methodist church. Mr. Poston was born in Berkeley County January 14,1873, a son of the late Duncan and Lucille Poston. Until about 10 years ago, on account of ill health, Mr. Poston had farmed all of his adult life in the Friendship Church section. His wife, the former Miss Mary Magdaline Alford, died several years ago. Surviving are a son, Bryant H. Poston, with whom he made his home; a daughter, Mrs. Idell P. Buskirk, of Charleston; and seven grandchildren. The Georgetown Times, Friday, April 1, 1949.
