Description	:	Anita Olson, 87, of Gretna, Nebraska, formerly of Columbus, died Friday, November 8, 2019, at Silver Ridge Assisted Living in Gretna. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 14 at 11:00 AM, at Peace Lutheran Church in Columbus with Rev. Michael Klatt and Rev. Cory Burma officiating. Private family interment will be in Roselawn Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Gass Haney Funeral Home and continue on Thursday from 10:00 AM until service time at the church. Anita Olson was born January 7, 1932, in Platte County, Nebraska, to Carl and Elizabeth (Schafer) Loseke. She attended Immanuel country school, District 12, Immanuel Lutheran (city) School, and graduated from Kramer High School in 1950. She worked at the hospital in Columbus prior to her marriage to Howard Olson on September 7, 1952. The couple moved to Minnesota where they farmed for nine years and returned to Columbus in 1962. Anita was a homemaker who enjoyed quilting, gardening, flowers, working crossword and jigsaw puzzles, reading, volunteering at the Columbus Community Hospital, and spending time with her family. She was member of Peace Lutheran Church. Anita is survived by: Son – Keith Olson of Oklahoma City, OK Son – Les (Jana) Olson of Gretna, NE Son – Vern Olson of Guthrie, OK Five Grandchildren Two Great Grandchildren Sister – Greta Kovar of Staplehurst, NE Anita was preceded in death by: Parents – Carl and Elizabeth Loseke Son – Jeffrey Olson Sister – Cordula “Corky” Johannes Brother – Roger Loseke
