Description	:	Anita M. Johnson, age 72, entered the arms of Jesus October 1, 2009, at her home in Council Bluffs. She was born in rural Adams County, Iowa on May 14, 1937 to the late Russell and Evelyn (Miller) Cullen. Anita retired as an Elementary Teacher in 1999 after 42 years of educating children. She was a long time member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church and she was a sponsor for the RCIA Program. Johnson, age 72, entered the arms of Jesus October 1, 2009, at her home in Council Bluffs. She was born in rural Adams County, Iowa on May 14, 1937 to the late Russell and Evelyn (Miller) Cullen. She is survived by her sons: Dr. Christopher Johnson M.D. and wife, Robin, Matthew Johnson and wife, Becky; daughter: Joan McQuistan and husband, Aaron; the children's father, Gary Johnson; grandchildren: Alex Johnson, Ashley Johnson, Claire McQuistan, Olivia Johnson and Maxwell Johnson who will be born in January; brothers: Dr. Edward Cullen D.D.S., Kenneth Cullen and wife, Claudia; sister, Kathleen Nelson and husband, Keith; a host of other family and friends. Wake Service is Sunday, 5 p.m., followed by visitation with the family until 8 p.m., at the Cutler-O'Neill-Meyer-Woodring Funeral Home. Catholic Mass and burial is Monday, 10:30 a.m., at St. Timothy's Catholic Church in Reno, Iowa, rural Cass County which is 6 miles south of Cumberland off of Hwy 92. Fr. David Fleming of St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Council Bluffs will officiate. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Lunch and fellowship will be in the church hall.
