Description	:	Anita Oliver, 78, of Grand Island died Friday, June 28, 2013, at Golden Living Center at Park Place. Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Trinity Lutheran Church, with a family prayer service at 9:45. The Revs. Adam Snoberger and Daniel Bremer will officiate. Burial will be in the Wiegert Cemetery. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Oliver, in 2004. Survivors of her immediate family include her children and their spouses, Tim Oliver of Tobias, Jana and Bob Fusselman of Grand Island, Beth and Jeff Lemke of Phoenix, Ariz., and Chuck and Lisa Oliver of Jackson, Wash.; 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Marlene Martin and Pauline and Larry Sallinger, all of California; and two brothers and sisters-in-law, Ronald and Doris Quandt of Grand Island and Harold and Bobbie Quandt of Aurora, Colo. Anita was raised and received her education in Grand Island. She graduated from Grand Island Senior High. She attended Concordia College in Seward. On Jan. 8, 1956, she was united in marriage to George Oliver. They made their home in Grand Island, where Anita was a stay-at-home mother. She was an in-home day care provider for 50 years. She was an active member of Trinity Lutheran Church and taught Sunday school for many years. She also served on the LWML and the confirmation robe committee for many years. Anita was instrumental with the startup of Heartland Lutheran High School. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Albert and Bill Quandt; and brother-in-law, Clarence Martin.
