Sinclair, died yesterday at 2.15 from the infirmities of age at her home on Maple street, at the age of 73 years. She was born in Maine and had been a resident of Ayer for about 16 years, having also lived for a short time in Shirley. Her husband died in July, 1916. She leaves a niece, Mrs. Etta Goldsmith of Augusta, Me., a daughter, Mrs. William H. Craig of Ayer, and one granddaughter, Mrs. Bessie Glazier Small of Fitchburg. The funeral will be held Sunday afternoon at 9 o'clock from her late home. Rev. J. W. Thomas, pastor of the Baptist church, will officiate. — Published in The Ayer News, 10 May 1918, page 4, col. 1. Funeral of Mrs. Sinclair The funeral of Mrs. Annie A. Sinclair, widow of the late George S. Sinclair, who died on Thursday of last week, took place Sunday afternoon at 2.30 at her late home on Maple street. Rev. J. W. Thomas, pastor of the Baptist church, officiated, and Mrs. J. W. Thomas and Mrs. F. W. Lowell sang "One Sweetly Solemn Thought" and "Shall We Meet Beyond the River." The bearers were William H. Craig, John H. Craig and James A. McDonald of Ayer, Harry Day of Leominster, Wilbur Kimball of Lawrence and Sgt. Horace Harrison of Camp Devens. The interment was in the family lot in Woodlawn cemetery.
