Description	:	Ann was the daughter of John Gregg Sr. and Rachel Currie Gregg. John Gregg was born in Pennsylvania and his wife, Rachel Currie was born in Ireland. John Gregg Sr. and Rachel Currie Gregg moved to Mount Pleasant, Iowa from Versailles, Allegheny, PA about 1854 along with their daughter, Rachel Gregg Stewart and her husband, Robert Stewart and their youngest children. Ann was only thirty when she died in 1866 and it's only a guess that she may have died from diphtheria as there were many lives lost in that era from the disease. She never married.
