"Sister Danielson united with the RLDS church in 1866, to which church she remained a faithful and loyal adherent. She was the soul of honor, a true and faitfhful wife, and a royal mother.... In her home, the minister of the church of her choice ever found a royal welcome. The writer of this obituary chanced to be one of the ministers to enjoy such a privilege, and knows whereof he affirms. "Her remains were brought to the home of her daughter, Ida, whence the funeral cortege wended its way to the church, and thence to Rose Hill, where beside her husband she was laid to await the resurrection of the just. "A rather singular incident, and yet so appropriate, was that a sheaf of ripened wheat lay affixed upon the casket, and one of the texts chosen by the minister, and without knowledge of the emblem, was 'Thou shalt come to the grave in a full age, like as a shock of corn cometh in his season (Job 5:26)'."
