Description	:	Anna A. Poirier , 84, of Hope Gardens, 847 Park St., a secretary at LaSalette Shrine for 10 years before retiring in 1968, died Friday at Sturdy Memorial Hospital. She was the wife of Frederick Poirier . Born in Woonsocket, a daughter of the late Frederick and Mary Jane (Lojeau) Aubin, she lived in Attleboro most of her life. Read More	Anna A. Poirier , 84, of Hope Gardens, 847 Park St., a secretary at LaSalette Shrine for 10 years before retiring in 1968, died Friday at Sturdy Memorial Hospital. She was the wife of Frederick Poirier . Born in Woonsocket, a daughter of the late Frederick and Mary Jane (Lojeau) Aubin, she lived in Attleboro most of her life. Mrs. Poirier was a communicant of St. Joseph's Church, and a past president of the Ladies of St. Anne. At the suggestion of a former pastor of St. Joseph's Church, at the age of 65, she formed a senior citizens group in that parish which welcomed people from other parishes and religions. She served as program director at the Council on Aging until 1977. She was the recipient of the Marian Medal by the Diocese of Fall River. She was a member of the search committee of the Council on Aging to find a successor to the Rev. Gordon Larson, the executive director. Besides her husband she leaves a son, Roger F. Poirier of Wilmington, Del.; two brothers, Brother Herve Aubin S.C. of Granby, Quebec, and Brother Oscar Aubin S.C. of Nashua, N.H.; two sisters, Cecile Bibeault of Lincoln and Margaret Aubin of Laconia, N.H.; 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. The funeral will be held Tuesday at 9:15 a.m. from the Stephen H. Foley Funeral Home, 126 S. Main St., with a funeral Mass at 10 at St. Joseph's Church, South Main Street.
