Description	:	OBITUARY A written notice of the recent death of Mrs. Anna A., wife of Chas. E. Davis, of this place, was last week mislaid until after the Messenger went to press. The deceased, who was a sister of Chas. E. Morton, associate editor of the Albany Echo, died at her late home near the cemetery here on Wednesday, the 5th inst., of consumption. She was a native of Athens county and was in the 26th year of her age. For a number of years preceding her death she was a consistent member of the Presbyterian church, the pastor of which, Rev.... The deceased, who was a sister of Chas. E. Morton, associate editor of the Albany Echo, died at her late home near the cemetery here on Wednesday, the 5th inst., of consumption. She was a native of Athens county and was in the 26th year of her age. For a number of years preceding her death she was a consistent member of the Presbyterian church, the pastor of which, Rev. I. W. Montfort, conducted impressive ceremonies on the occasion of her funeral which took place on Friday the 7th inst. Her remains were interred in the new cemetery beside those of her mother and two sisters. We extend warm sympathy to her bereaved relatives and friends.
