Services were held April 29 at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church, Napoleon. Annie was born June 27, 1926, to Joseph and Barbara (Weigel) Marquart in Napoleon. She was the 10th child of 12. Read More	The Bismarck Tribune, North Dakota, 30 April 2010 NAPOLEON — Anna "Annie" (Marquart) Mueller, 83, Napoleon, passed away April 26, 2010, at St. Vincent's Care Center, Bismarck. Services were held April 29 at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church, Napoleon. Annie was born June 27, 1926, to Joseph and Barbara (Weigel) Marquart in Napoleon. She was the 10th child of 12. She spent her childhood on the family homestead in the Napoleon area. She attended the small schools in the Napoleon area, where at times, her teacher was her oldest sister. Annie met Alvin Mueller of Gackle and they were married on Feb. 5, 1945. Annie and Alvin lived in Hazelton after their marriage, where they had their first four children. In 1955, they moved to Lodi, Calif., and they then had their fifth child. Annie and Alvin always dreamed of returning back to North Dakota and in 2004, they returned to Napoleon. Alvin passed away in 2005 and Annie then moved to Bismarck, where she was a resident at St. Vincent's Care Center. Annie worked for many years in care centers in Lodi. She loved her job and made many lifelong friendships with her patients. She loved to sing and dance. She had an amazing voice that touched many. One of her greatest joys was being surrounded by her family. She was a loving mother, wife, grandmother, sister and aunt. She had an extremely kind heart and her door was always open to everyone. Whenever anyone needed someone to talk to or a kind shoulder to cry on, they turned to Annie. She will be dearly missed by her children, Mary (Mike) Cato, Gail Gibson, Rod Mueller, Mike Mueller and Patrick Mueller; one sister, Elizabeth "Betty" Schumacher; six grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. All of whom visited Annie often. She was proceeded in death by her husband of 60 years, Alvin; her sisters, Barbara Mitzel, Margaret Welder and Mary Stoller; her brothers, Ben Marquart, Pete Marquart, Felix Marquart, Jay Marquart and Frank Marquart; two infant sisters; and her parents, Joseph and Barbara.
