Description	:	Mrs. E.C. Keim, who has been in poor health for a number of years, passed away Wednesday morning at about 10:00 A.M. at the hospital in Superior. She is survived by her husband, two sister, two brothers, four step-sons, Rawley, Sebert and Louis who live at home west of town, and Charley; also one step-daughter Mrs. Pearl Widell of Los Angeles, California. Funeral services will be Saturday at the Klawitter mortuary, with burial in Geneva. The Nelson Gazette, Thursday, May 5, 1949 Mrs. Annie Keim was born to Mr. and Mrs. John Mawson August 25, 1888, in England and passed away in Superior, Nebraska, May 4, 1949. At the age of six years her parents came to America and made their home in Waverly, Nebraska. Annie was married to Eli C. Keim on May 10, 1926, and has lived near Nelson, Nebraska for the past 22 years. She leaves to mourn her passing, her husband, Eli, five step-children: Charley, Rawley, Sebert, Louis of Nelson; and Mrs. Pearl Widell of Los Angeles. Also two sisters, Mrs. May Hess of Winner, South Dakato and Mrs. Violet Songer, Cederidge, Colorado, and two brothers, Tom of Chicago and Jack of Baskersfield, California. She was associated with the Episcopalian Church of England. Funeral services were conducted Saturday, May 7, 1:30 p.m., at the Klawitter Chapel, in Nelson, by Rev. E.B. Stewart. Two songs, "Beautiful Isle" and "Face to Face" were rendered by Mrs. W.L. Portwood and Mrs. E.B. Stewart, accompanied by Mrs. H.H. Hite. The pallbearers were C.E. Wehrman, George Himmelberg, Victor Nielsen, O.P. Porter, Bill Thornberry and Wm. Troudt. Burial was in the family lot at Geneva. The Nelson Gazette, Thursday, May 12, 1949
