Miss Blecker was born at Ponca, Neb., January 26, 1874, and when she was two years old her parents came to this county, and settled on a farm in Plymouth township, where she was educated and grew up. The family moved to Le Mars twenty years ago. Miss Blecker made their home together since the death of their parents. Anna Blecker leaves to mourn her death her brothers and sisters, who are Henry Blecker, of Toronto, S. D.; Mrs George H. Bender, of Hinton; Mrs George F. Spies of Merrill, Ia.; August Blecker, Santa Anna, Calif.; Mrs. Philip Koenig , Seattle, Wash.; and Miss Christina Blecker, Le Mars, Ia. The funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock this afternoon, at the Hildreth Memorial church, Rev. J. W. Davis, the pastor, officiating. The interment will be made in the Floyd cemetery at Melbourne, where her parents are buried.
