The former Anna Caroline Louise Matzdorff, daughter of Sigmund and Minnie Matzdorff, Mrs. Golnitz was born in Brooke Township Sept. 7, 1892. She was baptized in infancy. In October, 1916, she was united in marrige with Edward Golnitz. They farmed in Brooke Township. Mrs. Golnitz moved to Aurelia in 1967. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Alta. Survivers include two sister: Mrs. Harry (Lillie) Nichtern of Spencer and Mrs. Albert (Alma) Grashoff of Aurelia, and two brothers: Harry and Erwin Matzdorff of Aurelia. Her husband and a son preceded her in death.
