Description	:	The Ogden Reporter 1888 Anna Catherine Myers [76] was born in Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania in 1812. She came to Iowa in 1854 with her husband, and settled upon the farm near Pilot Mound, where she died Sept. 23, 1888. She leaves an aged husband, Jacob Myers two sons, Henry and George; two daughters Mrs. Bultolph and Mrs. Allsover. Mother Myers leaves a good record, loved and respected by all who knew her, a true type of the early pioneer; kind and charitable. Many a one were warmed and fed at her humble home in the early days of Boone County. Her memory deserves a richer tribute than we can offer. The funeral exercises were largely attended at the residence the 25th, conducted by Rev. Lewis Doran.
