Court St., died Tuesday, Oct. 1, 1996, at her home. The Rev. Steve McLoud will officiate the Mass. Lector will be Mrs. Kelly's brother, Paul Fasbender. Gift bearers will be Judie Glendening and Mary Herr. Casket bearers will be John Fasbender, Shawn Fasbender, Christopher Fasbender, Bob Fasbender, Don Fasbender, and Edward Fasbender Jr. Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery in Carroll. Friends will call after 2:30 and a rosary will be recited at 3 Friday afternoon at Twit Funeral Home in Carroll. There will be a vigil service at 7:30 Friday night at the funeral home. A daughter of William and Margaret (Schmilz) Fasbender, she was born May 29, 1899, at Halbur. She was educated at St. Augustine School in Halbur and Our Lady of Mount Carmel School in Mount Carmel. She and Paul O. Kelly were married Nov. 24, 1936, at Sts. Peter and Paul Church in Carroll with the Rev. Lambert Schenkelberg officiating. Mrs. Kelly was a homemaker. She was a member of Holy Spirit Parish and the Women's Guild and was a former member of Farm Bureau Bureau womens groups. Survivors include a daughter, Sister Mary Kelly, of West Des Moines; a brother, Paul Fasbender, and his wife, Mercedes, of Carroll; and two sisters-in-law: Louise Fasbender of Breda and Evelyn Fasbender of Carroll. Mrs. Kelly was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Paul, in 1989; three brothers: Joseph, William, and Edward Fasbender; and two sisters: Mary Wernimont and Magdalene Smith.
