Description	:	OBITUARY Mrs. Anna C. Anderson died on Friday, March 14, 1919, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. S. D. Shippy, where she has been living most of the time for the past seven years, since the death of her husband, Charles J. Anderson. She was born in Sweden, May 27, 1827, and there she and Mr. Anderson were married in 1856. They came to America in 1860 and went to Utah. They also lived several years at Malad City, Idaho. Learning about the Reorganized Church they united with that and came east, locating in 1874... Read More	OBITUARY Mrs. Anna C. Anderson died on Friday, March 14, 1919, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. S. D. Shippy, where she has been living most of the time for the past seven years, since the death of her husband, Charles J. Anderson. She was born in Sweden, May 27, 1827, and there she and Mr. Anderson were married in 1856. They came to America in 1860 and went to Utah. They also lived several years at Malad City, Idaho. Learning about the Reorganized Church they united with that and came east, locating in 1874 in Ringgold County, Iowa, near what is now Ellston. Of their six children, the one daughter died on May 13, 1886, and one son, Joseph on March 18, 1901. Four sons survive: Otto in Charleston, W. VA.; John living south of Lamoni; Hiram, near Ellston, and Levi in Des Moines. All but the first named came to the funeral of their mother. Mrs. Anderson had reached the great age of 91 years, 9 months and 2 days, but the last part of her life she was practically helpless. She loved to be with Mrs. Shippy and from her received continued care, her sons visiting her when they could and seeing to her wants. The funeral was held at the Saints' church Sunday afternoon, service in charge of John Smith, and sermon by H. A. Stebbins.
