Description	:	Anna Alberts, 103, died Saturday, March 3, 2012 at the Sanford Foundation Hospice Cottage in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Anna Cramer was born on a farm northeast of Davis, South Dakota on April 7, 1908, the daughter of Casjen and Hilkelina (Van Hove) Cramer. Anna attended Middleton District #24 rural school and Davis High School. She worked for several years at the Tjaden and Miller grocery store in Davis. Read More	Anna Alberts, 103, died Saturday, March 3, 2012 at the Sanford Foundation Hospice Cottage in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Anna Cramer was born on a farm northeast of Davis, South Dakota on April 7, 1908, the daughter of Casjen and Hilkelina (Van Hove) Cramer. Anna attended Middleton District #24 rural school and Davis High School. She worked for several years at the Tjaden and Miller grocery store in Davis. On October 5, 1930 Anna was married to Bernie Alberts at the Bethel Reformed Church of Davis. Following the marriage they farmed in the Davis area until 1964. It was then that they moved to Davis. Anna moved to Sioux Falls in 2007 and resided there until her passing. Anna was a life long member of Bethel Reformed Church. She served as pianist for the churches' male quartet, Sunday School teacher for the adult class, Bible School teacher and served the R.C.W. as an officer and participant. She enjoyed quilting, gardening, and adorned the home garden with beautiful flowers. Anna was preceded in death by her husband Bernie on October 20, 1999, one daughter Helen, in 1960, one grandson Steven, 2011, her parents, and six brothers: George, Harm, Jacob, John, Henry and David. Anna attained the age of 103 years, 11 months and four days. Grateful for having shared her life are her children: Philip (Sharon) Alberts, Sioux Falls, Sherry (Dale) Roth, Astoria and James (Chris) Alberts, Fairview, UT; 15 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren. Graveside Services will begin at 1:00 p.m. Thurs. March 8 at Turner Co. 1st Presbyterian Cemetery, Davis, SD.
