She was born at Ondrichovice, Moravia, grew to young womanhood there and was married there to Peter Zelda in 1874. Two sons, Frank and Joe, were born to them. Both survive their parents, Frank living in Abie and Joe living one-half mile west. Mr. Zelda came to America in 1891, Frank came in the fall of 1893 and Mrs. Zelda and Joe came in the spring of 1894. The family settled on a farm four miles west of Abie. Mrs. Zelda is survived by her two sons and by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a good woman devoted to her family, and had many friends.
