Anna was born Sept. 18, 1913, at Coleharbor, ND, the daughter of John H. and Nora Belle (Keith) Hellie. At the age of 5 the family (minus John the father) moved to the Loring area and settled next to their grandparents on Whitewater Creek. Read More	Malta - Anna Elizabeth Hellie Seaford Omdahl, 89, a homemaker, passed away Feb. 13, 2003 at the Country Home in Malta. Anna was born Sept. 18, 1913, at Coleharbor, ND, the daughter of John H. and Nora Belle (Keith) Hellie. At the age of 5 the family (minus John the father) moved to the Loring area and settled next to their grandparents on Whitewater Creek. Anna attended schools in Whitewater and Malta and did nurses training in the Harlem and Malta hospitals. In 1933 she took a cooking job in the boarding house for the Little Ben Mine in the Little Rockies where she met and married Charles D. Seaford. Charles died on May 22, 1960. In 1965 she married David T. Omdahl in Malta. He died on July 4, 1982. In her Little Rocky days, Anna attended church in the Hays Missionary Alliance and the Grace Chapel in Landusky. Presently she was a member of the Malta Lutheran church where she was active in the Mary Circle. She sewed dozens of quilt tops and assembled them for overseas missions. For years she was a 4-H leader at Landusky. She loved fishing, people and family, gardening, quilting, Bible study, bird watching, and cooking. She is survived by her children: Anna Faye Simms of Tucson, AZ, Carol Williams of Landusky, Lulu Belle Besel of Greeley, CO, Debbie Severeide of Cody, WY, Leonard Seaford of Landusky; sisters, Vivian McMullen of Spokane, Hilda Brown of Malta, Arthur Hellie of Deer Park, WA, Arnold "Ike" Hellie of Whitewater, MT; 14 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husbands and five brothers. Funeral services at the Malta Lutheran Church. Burial in Landusky Cemetery.
