Description	:	- Mrs. Arthur Martin Dies At Atchison Hospital - Mrs. Anna Elizabeth Martin, of 1020 South Fifth, widow of Arthur B. Martin, died at 8:30 o'clock this morning at the Atchison hospital. She entered the hospital Tuesday after suffering a stroke. Mrs. Martin aslo suffered a stroke a year ago. She was formerly employed at the Atchoson Leather Products Co. resigning about two years ago because of poor health. Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday at St. Joseph's church, the Rev. Matthew Hall occiciating. Burial will be in the family lot at Mr. Calvery cemetery.... Mrs. Martin, whose maiden name was Kearney, came to Atchison with her parents when she was 16 years old. Her father, a miner, came here to work in the old Atchison coal mine, south of town. Anna Elizabeth Kearney was born Feb 12, 1889 at Emerald, Kas. Her parents were Mary Glennon Kearney and Thomas Kearney. June 2, 1910 she was married to Mr. Martin at St. Benedict's church. Her husband was a painting contractor and died Feb 21, 1945. Mrs. Martin made her home with her daughter, Mrs. Milton E (Doris) Blair, and Mr. Blair. She was a communicant of St. Joseph's parish and a member of its Altar Society. She leaves, besides her daughter a brother, Raymond Kearney, Atchison, and two grandchildren. Two sons, Leo Francis and Marion Wayne, died in childhood. Mrs. Martin was a gracios and friendly woman and a devoted mother. She had a large circle of friends. -The Atchison Daily Globe -
